#POM POM TREE GARLAND HOW TO#
I worked a little more to try to figure out how to make the perfect diy pom pom garland. I am happy to say this was the year I FINALLY got back at it. These pom pom garlands have been decking our halls for the past few years, but every year I put them up I wished it had turned out better than it did!įast forward to Christmas 2021. I was determined, though, so I made something that worked well enough. I finally decided wrapping it around a fork was the best way to get them to be somewhat uniform in size, but even still they were not quite what I had hoped for. My pom poms were too stringy and thin, I couldn’t figure out the best technique and was super frustrated. The problem was, once I got the yarn home, I struggled to find a way to create the same look as the charming garland I had seen in the store! So I got myself to the craft store, bought some cream colored yarn to bring home, and got to work. I had seen some at a store and thought it looked so cute, but I did not want to pay the price that seemed way too high for a decoration that was essentially just yarn.
